Guardians of the Galaxy, released in 2014, is a science fiction movie about a group of intergalactic criminals that are forced to work together in order to save and protect the Galaxy from a fanatical warrior that wants to take control of the universe. The director of this movie is James Gunn, which is also one of the writers of this movie, and it has been announced that he will be the one to direct and co-write the second part of the movie, called Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2. Starring actors for this movie are: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Laura Haddock, Sean Gunn.
With an estimated budget of $170 m this movie managed to raise more than half of this amount in the first weekend only, making over $94 m.
Storyline
After stealing a mysterious orb in the far reaches of outer space, Peter Quill from Earth, is now the main target of a manhunt led by the villain known as Ronan the Accuser. To help fight Ronan and his team and save the galaxy from his power, Quill creates a team of space heroes known as the “Guardians of the Galaxy” to save the world.Written by James Hake
